Faye and David - Trailer Analysis

Trailer Analysis for Own Film Trailer
The trailer of the film describes a new thriller movie about a girl being stalked by a guy - this is shown by his shadow in one of the first scenes. At the start of the trailer all seems well until the texts the girl starts to get become creepy and strange, at first it was a normal, flirty relationship until the guy becomes obsessive and she cuts it off.
The music in the background of the trailer is intense, which makes the audience want to watch the film as they are unsure of what is going to happen. The music mirrors the fast pace scenes in the trailer as well as an abrupt end to the final scene.
The scenes are both long shot and close up to show variety of the different filming effects which shows how she is feelings - makes the audience empathise with the character. Also included in the trailer are transitions to make the trailer flow properly. The visual effects include the trailer being in black and white which adds to the mystery of whats going on in the film.
